PeerZone is a series of 20 three-hour peer-led workshops for people who experience mental distress and addiction. The workshops provide a fun, interactive and safe structure for participants to share their experiences, learn self-management and expand their horizons.

PeerZone runs a four-day training and ongoing support services for peer workers to be PeerZone facilitators, who deliver the workshops to people in their service or community.

This course will equip individuals with the basic skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours to undertake peer support work. The course is designed to create a safe space for people to share their lived experience and recovery, and to explore and develop personally within this unique learning space. The course is facilitated by qualified peer practitioners with a lived experience who are currently working in the field.
