Chacku Mathai is the director of systems transformation initiatives for National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Prior to his work at NAMI, he was the associate executive director of the New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, where he advanced national campaigns for culturally competent and recovery-oriented systems across mental health and addiction systems and recovery communities, including peer services.
