Welcome to the April edition of the CEPS e-zine. Some great peer workforce discussions have already taken place this month, with the first Mind Colloquia of 2013 (held on 3 April) presenting Emma Gale’s research Peer support in mental health: An exploratory study of PHaMs in Victoria. The presentation – which will be available online soon, for those who were unable to attend – produced some informative and thoughtful conversations in regard to the development of the peer workforce.
Opportunities for peer workers and service providers to share their ideas and expertise across the sector are intrinsic to the continued growth and development of our peer workforce. The CEPS Measuring Outcomes Forum, which took place on 25 March, also produced some valuable discussions; please see the attached PDF for an overview of the program and discussions from this event. A copy of this report, including download links to forum resources, is available via the CEPS website: www.peersupportvic.org/home-page
